Press Release

Antoine Helwaser Gallery is pleased to be presenting at Booth C14, Art Miami 2016

Featuring over 10 works of mid-to-large scale pieces from major Abstract and contemporary artists, the booth presents works from artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Robert Longo and Gilbert and George, together with Marc Chagall, Sam Francis, and Helen Frankenthaler.  This will mark the gallery’s seventh year with Art Miami, where it has consistently presented works from major American and European twentieth century artists.

Works on show will include Infinity- Nets (PEAA), by prominent Japan-born artist Yayoi Kusama, known for her influence on the Pop movement. A recent work by the artist, whose series Infinity Nets has risen to acclaim for their sense of rhythmic, infinite movement, it features a multitude of small blue crescents expanding against a black background. Other works of interest include Autour de nu, a work by Marc Chagall, as well as London-duo Gilbert & George’s Sex & Money (A London picture).
